Surgical Treatment of Pes Equino Varus; Early Results of Posteromedial and Complete Subtalar Release

Abstract
Rigid type PEV deformities must frequently be treated with surgical methods. The most often used surgical method is postero-medial release but the complete subtalar release technique is also used in increasing number of patients. The results of posteromedial release and complete subtalar release have been compared and it was observed that we have obtained better results with complete subtalar release.
