Abstract

A case of plasma cell osteomyelitis is presented with its clinical and histopathological findings. A 39 years old male patient presented with chronic osteomyelitis of the left femur which had been present for 19 years. The clinico- pathological properties of this case are presented. Plasma cell osteomyelitis is a histopathological diagnosis. Rather than being a seperate clinico-pathological entity, it is a histopathological finding which can be found in a variety of diseases. The condition must be differentiated from plasma cell myeloma.
