Abstract

Primary repair was performed in 30 peripheral nerve injuries in the upper extremities of 24 patients. The average follow up was 15.7 months. The nerve repair was performed by microscope as perineural. The results showed that; 40 percent of the repairs yielded good results and 44 percent average results; 16 percent resulted in failure. This study also has shown that the result of nerve repair is better at the distal site.
